Great horn Owl by Sarah Bernstein

June 2020 - Great horn Owl

About the Image(s)

Shutter 1/1000, ISO 500, F6.3 cropped
Great horn owls in Saguaro cactus in AZ. They have nested in the same place for a few years so it is easy to watch the development of the 3 chicks. I just noticed the back of one near the mother.

Hi Sarah,

Great photo. The lighting is very even and the colors are vivid yet very natural. I would love to get a photograph of some owls - any owl actually.

Really good. You might add a little yellow to the eyes. To Holly-my owls just had babies. You can see them if you ever get to Las Vegas. They are not captive.   Posted: 06/05/2020 05:17:55

Hello Sarah, very pretty setting for an owl's nest. Great capture with the color and sharpness of your subject.   Posted: 06/14/2020 00:09:34
