About the Image(s)

This image was taken at the Bruneau Dunes State Park in Southern Idaho. The wagon was sitting in a field near a small visitors building. I thought it would make a good subject. The background was reasonably non distracting and provided a nice depth of field. I cloned out a few small bushes from the background that merged with the backside of the wagon. The lighting was soft and I thought enhanced the wagon. Wasn't sure about including the rock on the lower right, but thought it was a good anchor and added some depth. The camera I use is a 5D Mark IV. The lens I used was a 24-70. Exposure was 1/320, f/10 and Iso was 125. Looking forward to comments.

Beautiful photo. I would crop a little off of the bottom or darken the rock.

I like your composition with the open space, cattle and a second wagon in the distance. The lighting works well.   Posted: 11/13/2019 23:19:01

A very nice image . My eye goes toward the wagon and beyond, but my eye also goes toward the stone. I would Darken the rock or remove it. Great image and all of the colors blend in.   Posted: 11/14/2019 13:06:49

Thanks Stu, I agree as well about the rock. I should have caught that.

Beautiful image - the contrasting colors, it's sharp and eyes are drawn to the main object. I like that there's a similar wagon way behind and i would prefer that the rock be removed.   Posted: 11/15/2019 19:44:53

Thanks Pat. I am going to darken it first and see if I like it. If not, the rock is gone!   Posted: 11/22/2019 17:12:33
