About the Image(s)

A photo of my daughter, taken just a couple days ago f8, ISO 100, 1/6th of sec shutter speed.

I shot the image slightly over exposed in natural light so when editing I lowered the exposure a little, dropped the highlights a smidgen, and increased the contrast by 5points. Cropped a little tighter, adjusted the reds, yellows and oranges until her skin color looked a bit more natural and healthy and lastly added a small vignette to subtly focus the eye on the subject.

What a beautiful little girl and photo! Good skin tones and I like the contrast between the fur and her lovely, smooth skin. My suggestion would be to back that crop out some. Right now it is so close to her head and feet that it is distracting. Just a small bit more on the left and right would make this an absolute winner.   Posted: 03/11/2019 09:23:17

very nice shot. I agree with Karen, you should have a little more room, infront of your daughter's head. You have a beautiful daughter.   Posted: 03/14/2019 06:56:38
