About the Image(s)

How I did it: This is a composite that I experimented with. In PS CC Bridge I played with the sliders and did some cropping to get an acceptable image. Then in PS CC I experimented with a lot of the filters finally choosing Find Edges and Sumi-e together in one image. I’m disappointed in the all black area in the upper portion but couldn’t find a way to change it.

What do you think and how would you do the tulips?

Good work with your filters, really like the colors and the way the background is blended.   Posted: 11/10/2020 01:34:01

I really like your experimentation Henry! This reminds me of a linoleum block print.
I wouldn't change a thing. If you were to add a graphic in the top right, the black is a perfect background.

Thanks Kathy and thanks for showing how a graphic would go in the upper right.   Posted: 11/16/2020 16:23:50

Thanks Maryellen. There are just infinite ways in which one can work with flowers, both outside and inside during Minnesota winters.   Posted: 11/16/2020 16:25:54

Henry, You've done a great job with the composition, flower placement, colors and the handling of the foreground and background. I have nothing to add this month.   Posted: 11/16/2020 17:11:01
