About the Image(s)

This Gecko was lying flat against the glass. I darkened the glass and
applied dehaze. Then I brought it inot Nik/DxO for solarization.

Taken with the Olympus EM1 mark II and 60mm macro lens

Lisa, Your macro photography is excellent. I have to admit I do prefer the original but I like your experimentation. You remind me I need to play around more with some of the filters as I've been feeling a bit stuck creatively lately.   Posted: 03/11/2020 18:36:31

Lisa, the solarization of the Gecko foot is mesmerizing and beautiful. The solarizing process highlights the scales (?) of the foot into an impressive design.

Interesting view! I like both for different reasons. I really like the detail and color of the original. And I also like the graphic which gives it an almost flower like impression.   Posted: 03/18/2020 14:25:40

Lisa, simplifying this down into graphic details is fabulous. The simplicity is elegant. Love it.   Posted: 03/29/2020 23:06:28

Wow! This is very cool. ( I've never gotten this close to a gecko and I love them.) The detail is just amazing.   Posted: 03/31/2020 16:17:18
