About the Image(s)
I am short on time this month so this image is one I did very quickly, made up of two images. I just wanted to create the mood I imagined when I took this image of the elephant. It was easy to blend the two together with the opacity brush.

Jan, I like this image a lot. The close up view of the sun and the elephant do justice to this noble creature. I wonder if you boosted the contrast some for the elephant or added more black tones if it might be even more dramatic.   Posted: 08/10/2019 11:11:59
Time is always our enemy, lol!
Love this!!! Really beautiful mood and nothing to suggest.
I only wonder about the smooth moon vs the crusty elephant? I love what you did with the elephant and wish you would have used some crust on the moon too. (But again, not a critique of this beautiful image)

Guess I can't tell a sun from a moon 😳
I like the bit of texture you put in!   Posted: 08/20/2019 01:05:39

I love the idea! And I have been doing multiples like this in camera lately (my camera ghosts the overlay so I can position the moon, etc. exactly where I want it in-camera as an overlay)
I love the sun added to the scene, it fits well. I am a little confused by the grunginess of the elephant, but that is personal taste.
good use of two strong elements to make a story.   Posted: 08/14/2019 01:00:03

Out of Africa - here comes his majesty, king of his domain from the swirling mists of time! Black and white is great for this, the single creature is great, the haze obscured sun is great. I can't think of any way to improve this.   Posted: 08/17/2019 15:26:01
