A real challenge to select pics at random. You missed a little bit of one image when masking the sky. I like the overall hue of the image, but would get rid of the blue stripe as I think it is a bit much of a contrast.
Original 2 is a great still life.   Posted: 07/11/2017 19:48:29

Love what you have created Charles! Very cool and so is your title! Yes I agree with Natalie about cleaning up the sky and also taking the yellow spots out of it as well as the little missed piece. Composition and colors are great!! And yes, take out the blue and red areas on the left as my eye goes to them and distracts from the overall picture. Hope you win with this piece lots of times in composition! You also might want to add a little vignette too. Mesmerizing to view and view and view!!

I'm fascinated with your Original 2 image. I'm sorry, I just don't get the combination with your Original 1 image. They just don't seem to compliment one another, in my opinion. I can recognize the glass pitcher, but the other two glass containers are obscured beyond recognition. I would try brightening your Original 2 and blending with a different source image.   Posted: 07/20/2017 12:47:24

I agree with Natalie and Carolyn, except for the vignette. Do take out the waterfall or blend it in with the rocks. As for Tony's comment about brightening, not so sure. I think I would have made the glass more transparent (not too much more). Just enough to see the shape of the mountains better.
It is a great idea.   Posted: 07/21/2017 10:28:01

I like the concept and appreciate the randomness of it, but perhaps simpler is better, omit the blue strip, the waterfall and make the rocks/mts on the left gold like the ones on the right   Posted: 07/24/2017 21:13:01

Charles, welcome to the group. Very good blending of subjects... As other have said, lose the red and blue and clean up the sky. I took your final and mountain pic and used the mountain image to remove these thing talked about as well as brought more of the mountain back to the left of the bottle and top right. Don't let one image lose the effect of the other one (needed the extra mountain area). Good image.   Posted: 07/29/2017 15:40:17
