It was the sunrise of this morning, shot from the fourth floor (topmost) in my apartment. The point where the sun comes out from the ground is changing everyday throughout the year. On the long and bare skyline there is only one standing-out tree. This morning it happened to be just aside of the tree. I shot a time-lapse video of the sunrise and this image is one of those frames. I cropped the image and adjusted the color by applying a built-in landscape filter of Pixelmator Pro (I don’t have other fancy tools). Please let me know what you think and what would you do differently? Thank you.
Camera: fuji x-t4, lens: fuji xf 70-300, aperture: f/11, shutter: 1/30s, iso: 160. A CPL filter was installed in front of the lens but I don’t know if it helped or not in this shot.

Great shot Lin, captured with the rising sun in the right place. Your post processing really worked.
If this were mine, I would clone out the two power line poles to the right of the sun, thereby removing any human artifacts, but leaving the natural tree branches.   Posted: 03/12/2023 10:12:48

Hi Lin, I do like your image! The colours are great, but I also like the colours in the original image too. I would clone out the light poles on the right as once you see them, they take your eye all the time. Great capture!   Posted: 03/15/2023 19:32:00

I like the sun but I also like the branches of the tree and wondered if a wider crop including both would be better. Agree also removing light poles. Nicely seen.   Posted: 03/21/2023 14:16:01
