About the Image(s)

This was taken with my Canon EOS 5D Mark III, 24-105 f4L IS USM lens at daybreak, hand held, 24mm, 1/500, f6.7, 24mm focal length, in the San Diego, CA harbor a few days ago. In PS CC camera raw I played with the sliders to get the best possible image. Then in Topaz I used the color sketch filter to make the image more dramatic, something that I could make an enlarged 20x30 inch print to put on the living room wall.

What do you think?

The original is a nice photo, what you did in post processing is amazing! I love the colors, the lines, the feeling I get looking at it. It does belong on a living room wall!   Posted: 01/07/2018 06:44:55

its a beautiful looking frame and the editing choice here I feel is more of a personal taste.   Posted: 01/16/2018 23:56:27

I find it very interesting the way you have taken a normal picture of a boat and made it look like a painting. Very cool effect. It would make a nice picture to hang on the wall.

I like the overall effect but feel it is a pity the hull and the reflection of the hull have merged together.   Posted: 01/21/2018 15:10:28

The painting effect is amazing. I could appreciate that it is abstractive. But the color patched on the sky did not feel like cloud.
