About the Image(s)

I took this image two weeks ago, with my new I-pod touch. I straightened the image in Lightroom, then converted it to black and white with Silver Efex Pro 2, and adjusted the contrast, brightness, and structure starting with the preset "High Structure (Harsh)", and then adding Vignette - "Lens Falloff 1"

I think it's very interesting. it looks textured or mottled, does that come from the "High Structure"? Looks more like a painting than a photo, kind of cool.   Posted: 12/06/2019 13:47:45

Yes, like Dave I also feel it has a painterly feel. For this effect I would prefer a color version rather than a mono. I like the thought process though and the eye for creating an interesting image out of the ordinary.   Posted: 12/12/2019 14:23:13

I do like these window reflection shots from these vast glass builds, it does give you an alternative perspective on the world. They do make great alternative pattern shots so I do wonder if you need that normal reality with the roofs. Your colour version is a touch soft so I wonder if you have pushed the mono one a bit far giving this painterly effect.   Posted: 12/15/2019 15:30:36

A kind of abstract picture which calls out.
The contrast (if i am not mistaken) between the lower right corner - no reflection) and the rest of the image (reflection) is interesting and brings a lot at the picture.   Posted: 12/24/2019 03:01:58
