November 2020 - Good Morning

About the Image(s)

Its one of the first few images made with my new Nikon Z5 using FTZ adopter and favourite Tamron 24-70 f/2.8. That was a fine morning with a little chill in my native city. Shot using tripod at 65 mm, f/5.6 Shutter speed 1/250 ISO 200, WB Auto. I liked to include something in the foreground, therefore had these boats lined near the stairs.
I also tried this camera with my Nikon 200-500 mm f/5.6 but as compared to Nikon D500, I felt it a little imbalanced because of its less weight and small size.

A beautiful sunrise, Subhash. Of course the humorous, sharply focused boat (adding tension by facing out of the image) is what I see first, then the very soft, serene, reflected shoreline receding into layers. The repeating portions of contrasting blue and yellow-orange complete a very effective image.   Posted: 11/15/2020 12:23:20

Great image Subhash. I really like what you did with the boat in the foreground. The soft muted colors really help to make this image.   Posted: 11/20/2020 09:17:30

This image has a big impact on me. Even though the scene is still and serene, my senses are flooded with the beautiful and energizing light. The image is truly stunning to me when enlarged. Cropping the boats out might further enhance this feeling. 5 Stars :-)   Posted: 11/20/2020 18:20:29

Very beautiful sunrise colors. The serene and little bit haze on the mountains are beautiful. I like the boat as the foreground also, but I agree with Helen. The boat seems to be too sharp in contrast with the soft and serene tone of the image. Beautiful image overall.   Posted: 11/23/2020 22:45:56
