The succulent in the foreground nicely repeats the color of the shipping containers and complements the colors of the rocks and sand. Everything is in sharp focus. That said, I wouldn't have photographed shipping containers transformed into a restaurant when its feature is views of San Francisco Bay and the city's skyline, a site for beautiful sunset shots. I hope the food was good.   Posted: 11/06/2019 15:44:12

Helen,

Glad that you liked the photo. Sometimes what you shoot is dictated by time. By the way the food was very good.   Posted: 11/06/2019 17:31:08

An interesting documentary image. Quite a contrast between the landscaping and the converted shipping containers, and the palm tress beyond. The picture makes me wonder what is to the left of the landscaping - hopefully oceanfront, but maybe not. I see quite a bit of noise in the sky, but maybe it's mist.   Posted: 11/17/2019 11:56:05

I like the contrast between the dessert like scene in front and the interesting buildings in the background. Good detail throughout. Good depth of field. Just a little nit picking, but my eye keeps going to the wires above. They could be easily cloned out.   Posted: 11/17/2019 12:27:10

Agreed to what others say about the scene and the objects, but my attention has been distracted, sorry to say, badly as the hanging wires and noise draw my attention. I would have cropped the image from above or cloned these wires.   Posted: 11/19/2019 08:31:48
