WOW, what a great picture. Love how you captured the details, and the feeling of blacksmithing. I've watched this type of activity, although it was well before I became interested in photography. Your picture certainly reinforced my memory of this activity - thanks. Oh, yes - technically perfect.   Posted: 08/10/2019 12:59:36

This is excellent. I too have watched this being done and your take on it is so simple in the concentration on the action without any additional objects in the image. Well done.   Posted: 08/14/2019 18:43:46

Another great image Grace. Very powerful and nice and sharp. I especially like the steam as it give one an idea of how hot the horseshoe is.   Posted: 08/17/2019 13:15:56

Simple but very powerful image. I like the composition and conversion in B & W.   Posted: 08/19/2019 11:04:49

You were in the right position to get this strong, powerful composition. Wonderful detail and effective B&W processing. Decisive moment to get the steam which makes the picture.   Posted: 08/23/2019 18:04:05

Hi Grace
A great eye to see and capture such an intimate image it really did have to be in mono and so works for me amazing clarity on the Smiths hands and the leg of the horse something totally different which I feel should do amazingly well for you.   Posted: 08/24/2019 15:16:18
