Four shot pano looking back over the lake at Sheffield Park, Sheffield Park is a National Trust property that is just the formal gardens and the park, the house is still occupied. The park is vast and this is just a small part and is one of the best Arboretums in Britain. We timed our visit well as the Rhododendrons and Azaleas were all out.
When first laid out it was done by Capability Brown, but was remodeled in the early 1900’s by Arthur Soames and Humphry Repton. I have heard that this park is amazing to visit in the Autumn.
Hope you all have a wonderful Christmas.

Beautiful shot. The only thing in the image that gives me pause is the reflected highlights in the foreground.

I am not aware of any gardens of this caliber in Washington State. We certainly do not have a water feature like this in Kittitas County.

Nicely done.   Posted: 12/03/2020 00:40:58

Fine image of a beautiful landscape. I like the many different shades of green and red and the wide format. The bridge with the 2 people give the image idyllic character. The photo makes the viewer want to visit this park.   Posted: 12/13/2020 11:11:27

That's a beautiful photograph! The colors are bright and gorgeous and the people on the bridge add to the story of this picture.   Posted: 12/18/2020 01:38:29

What a beautiful park. At first I thought the bush to the left was too much but centering the people and walkway makes this a nice composition. The only thing I might try is to see if you can sculpt the sky a bit to get a little drama out of it and then match the reflection with the same hues and tones.   Posted: 12/18/2020 12:12:21
