I know this is not a landscape per say, but I wanted to show this as it makes me smile and at this time, I think we all need a smile. I was going through some old disks and found a set of files I had not touched that I took in Chester in 2013. This is the Garden in the cloisters of Chester Cathedral, and I was setting up an image with the statue and the trees in the background and down came this pigeon without a care in the world and had a drink. Click thank you Mr. Pigeon. He stayed there for quite a while then flew off, I actually forgot to take the image I initially set up for.

Successful photography with beautiful sculpture, suitable background and format. The dove gives life to the picture. I like the colors very much.   Posted: 11/04/2020 09:55:55

I've always struggled with taking photos of someone's else art. I have wonderful images of the "David", but didn't create what was great in that image. Aside from that this a wonderful garden setting, with the lilac flowers on the tree adding a balance and nice background. The pigeon is also a great touch helping to create a story. So in that vein this is a marvelous photo.   Posted: 11/16/2020 19:01:09
