Wow! That is the perfect S cruve. The colors are perfect. The brownish trees lead the eye to the darker black and white tracks. Everything is perfectly placed. Nice work.   Posted: 03/09/2019 19:10:04

The curve in that photo is awesome! You took this photo at a great angle!   Posted: 03/11/2019 20:28:31

I'm thinking that the other Bob in DDG 33 has developed a liking for the tracks! Cool S-curve capture. I wish our weather had been better, but at least you got out. Not a lot of color to generate interest, so I think a B&W might work.   Posted: 03/14/2019 20:17:17

Now how to copy that and save it as a curve template. Well spotted image of a man made landscape that works well.
I do agree with Bob that this image is so much better in Monochrome.   Posted: 03/20/2019 08:08:44

This is truly a landscape made for monochrome, at least in part because there is no real color in it. I like the pattern, and would go a bit further than Bob by darkening the field where it is not on the right of way on the left, and cropping about half way to the right of way from the right.

Sorry to disagree: It is winter, the fallow time. Colors are muted in winter, it's natural. The B&W conversion was tried. I decided against it because it took away from the feeling of the image. My only regret for this image is I did not catch a train.   Posted: 03/21/2019 22:46:07
