Hi Tom, nice picturesque shot through the old stone monuments. I would prefer it a little brighter, like this. Also, suggest that it be shot from a location a bit to the left so that the stone cross does not overlap the church tower--just my compositional preference--I guess that can be disagreed with. I agree with Stephen that the image needs increased contrast. It looks allover too grey on my monitor but Stephen has brought out the whiteness of the clouds more and the cross becomes better separated from the church. In fact I would go even further and make the contrast more dramatic as the clouds could easily stand it. Without my plugins which vanished with my latest Ps update, I can't access Nik, so I have simply increased lightness and contrast in Ps and I think this makes the image stand out well.   Posted: 10/19/2018 04:52:48

I rather like the dark tone but agree that more contrast would help to separate the church from the cross . I'm thinking perhaps cropping a bit off the bottom would pull the eye up a bit.   Posted: 10/24/2018 06:48:45
