About the Image(s)
I'm afraid I can't claim credit for the title a local lad beat me to it,this image was taken the week before the first lockdown my last real break on the West Lancashire coast as I have worked through all the lockdowns. I struggled with how to present this image though I knew what I wanted so I left alone for a month or so then would re visit still no inspiration then on the way home from work the other night I was listening to a lady on the radio explaining how the lockdowns had made her feel so isolated and alone this was the inspiration I needed to see the image exactly how I wanted to present it and my way of reaching out to all those who have been affected by this terrible virus and hopefully letting them know that someone is thinking of them.
How I did it
camera Canon EOS 5D Mark III Canon lensEF24-105mm f/4L IS USM f8 500s ISO 100
Raw file converted in photoshop basic adjustments made converted to mono using a gradient map on an adjustment layer contrast adjusted and some dodging and burning using luminosity masks sharpened using a high pass filter and 2px border added

The figure is a little lost in the darker tones of the sky and I feel that marginal brightening of it would make it stand out a little more. Nit picking the cloud in the extreme top right corner is a little bright to my eyes.
