HI John: I think your image has lots of activity for a street scene. The sky could use some, I took my editorial license and made a suggestion to flip the image and crop it a bit... added some contract to the sky.   Posted: 11/10/2019 15:49:20

Ella, if the image is flipped then it loses all meaning, becoming a fictional location.
The scene could be photographed from the other direction but would lose the bridges which would be no good at all.   Posted: 11/12/2019 02:00:54

John.. you are correct! Not being familiar with the location... as with all iconic locations - once they are flipped - those who know... know. I just took a stab at removing some of the business and distractions..   Posted: 11/12/2019 06:29:48

John - I think this is the least successful of your image series from this location - very busy in the background especially where the other people are - somewhat of a distraction. Flipping and cropping the image as Ella has done improves it, but I feel that the sky in this version is a little overdone.   Posted: 11/11/2019 07:54:24

Hi John
I really like this what really makes it is the girl and the dog take them away and its nothing special but they really give you a focus point and the eye them wanders around the picture then picking up other points of interest I would add a touch more contrast possibly but love the composition its actually my favourite of this set so far.   Posted: 11/11/2019 16:35:34

The lass with the dog make it for me.
The next group of people coming along are much less photogenic.   Posted: 11/12/2019 02:03:07

Hello John. I prefer the original sky because it seems more natural. The girl and the dog make the image interesting. I am wondering if they could be lightened a bit to make them more prominent. I dodged the girl an dog to lighten them. Just personal preference.   Posted: 11/16/2019 15:53:18
