Rashid - an interesting mix of shapes, textures and lighting in which the white shape is key. At first sight it is not clear in which direction the camera was pointed and whether or not it was rotated. Referencing the chequer plate I surmise that you were looking down. The very fact that my mind was drawn in to evaluate the taking angle is maybe a sign of the success of the image?   Posted: 03/13/2019 06:08:33

Peter,

"The very fact that my mind was drawn in to evaluate the taking angle is maybe a sign of the success of the image?" - I hope so. The fact that this image prompted you to spend some of your time is already a good sign for me. Thanks!   Posted: 03/14/2019 02:34:29

Hi Rashid: A very interesting image with all kinds of angles, shapes, and textures. I like your image very much! It takes a good eye to see something like this and photograph it... most of us would have just walked by and not take notice. Good job!   Posted: 03/13/2019 08:49:27

I try to do this sort of thing myself.
The majority of my efforts are poor and get rejected.
This is vastly superior and is an interesting image.   Posted: 03/16/2019 06:29:59

Hi Rashid
I love shapes in pictures and geometric images so this really appeals to me,I imagine you had a lot to take in but for you have isolated and composed the image to perfection as Ella said I am sure I would have walked past this but your eye spotted there was something of interest there well done great image I really like.   Posted: 03/17/2019 08:34:25

Rashid you have created an interesting image comprised of many shapes. The white bar is well placed. I'll echo Ella, good eye. Very few people could have seen the possibilities and created an interesting composition. Good work.   Posted: 03/18/2019 13:09:10

Hi Rashid, as has been mentioned earlier, your image is a very interesting mix of angles, and textures. I must admit my first impression was one of vertigo!   Posted: 03/19/2019 01:18:01
