Ella - great lighting and pose with all feather details well captured. The diffused background with just a hint of detail is the perfect foil to this image.I wonder if you could extract a little more detail from the left foot without losing realism.   Posted: 03/13/2019 05:57:20

Peter, thanks for your feedback, I might try a bit of dodging in that area... I took this shot from a moving zodiac which is a challenge   Posted: 03/13/2019 08:27:40
Hi, Ella!
Super! I like this photo. Very graceful pose. Perhaps it is worth a very little crop on the left side.   Posted: 03/14/2019 03:12:27

An excellent and unusual study of the pelican.   Posted: 03/16/2019 06:33:55

Interesting pose. it makes one think that the bird is looing specifically at you. Nicely done.   Posted: 03/18/2019 12:59:52
Ella, under those circumstances, very well captured. If you have Lightroom, the shadow adjustment feature would help bring out the feet I believe.   Posted: 03/19/2019 01:28:41

Hi Ella
If I were in a moving zodiac I would be clinging on for dear life so this is an amazing capture I love the composition the rock coming out from the bottom corner of the image the diffused background concentrating the eye on the subject and a catchlight in the eye brilliant image Ella.
