Hi Paul: What a fine specimen of a male lion! I love how you captured him with back lighting and the glow surrounding his face. Beautiful catch-light in his eyes. Technically well done. I like your choice of sepia very much. An image you can be proud of!   Posted: 12/05/2017 16:47:32

Paul - a first class portrait of the King of the Jungle - a great pose with a background which does not distract yet which is appropriate. However, for a back lit subject, his face does seem to be a little over bright.   Posted: 12/06/2017 12:15:08

Super portrait of the lion.
Perhaps reducing the brightness of the face is called for, as Peter has suggested.   Posted: 12/11/2017 12:16:39

Hi Paul
Great background nothing to distract from the subject of the image the rim lighting is superb and the eyes are as sharp as his claws about the discussion over the brightness of the face was there something reflective in front of him like a large light coloured rock etc that was reflecting the strong light back towards him I actually like it as it is it adds real focus on the face a superb animal study that deserves to do well for you.   Posted: 12/16/2017 14:24:56

Hi, Paul!

Superb! Incredibly charged portrait of a lion. I felt that he would see me now. )))

Well done!

Best wishes for a merry Christmas and a happy New Year! More adventures, new acquaintances and new places in the coming year!   Posted: 12/24/2017 09:16:44
