February 2021 - Small Boat Hibernation

I saw this boat while on a recent walk on the beach. Pulled up on the dune, it seemed to be patiently awaiting warmer weather I have done only minor cropping and adjustment to the image.

The boat, sand, and dry grass are all very nice. Here is a crop that emphasizes the boat, removes some of the less important parts of the picture, and slightly changes the color of the sky. Posted: 02/03/2021 08:59:19
Nice scene. I agree with Robert's suggestions about cropping in a little. It tightens up the image and allows you to focus on the boat. It also eliminates the little cloud floating off of the top. If you felt strongly about not cropping, I would still get rid of that cloud. Posted: 02/05/2021 08:12:22

Good choice of subject matter and hard to crop with out having lines or a post running off of the photo and being distracting. One thought is to make the photo wider, include the foot of the left post and include the right post on the right end of the photos. (If a post was on the right ind of the line.)

I'm in agreement with the other comments. Remove the cloud, crop a little. This is a very pleasing subject. Thank you for sharing it.
