Good eye and imagination. Fireworks are always fun as you have to be quick to react and capture. Would be interested in any details on settings.

This was a neighbor's tree with lights not fireworks

That is a fun technique.
It looks to me like the lights are overexposed. Red, in particular, when it is somewhat overexposed becomes orange, and when more overexposed yellow, and then white.

I pulled back on exposure a bit in post processing I see red and orange lights as well as yellow, green, blue and white lights That was the color of the lights I saw
I had white balance on incandescent
ISO 4000 f6.3 1/6 sec 60 mm were the settings on my Sony A6400 with the Sony 55-210 mm lens I cannot remember if I went from 210 to 55 mm or the reverse while zooming I tried both I cannot check because the neighbor took down the lights since the other day

It's always interesting to try intentional camera movement, or intentional zooming. I think this one turned out well.

Interesting experiment and a nice colorful result. What do you think accounts for the ghosting of the white lights in the lower part of the photo that is not present in the upper part?   Posted: 01/09/2021 14:59:00

There was a band of white lights on the bushes behind the tree Do you think they should be removed from the right I had removed part from the left   Posted: 01/09/2021 16:18:04

Interesting abstract image. If I hadn't read your title, I would have thought they were fireworks!! I think you can have a lot of fun getting many different images from this by cropping different areas.   Posted: 01/12/2021 11:26:05

Motion blur is so much fun and has such great results. This is very successful.
Starting with your image, I cropped to the half I liked, made a flipped copy of it, combined the two, and here it is. There is no limit to the variations you can do with such a great source image. You could easily make a dozen variations, all very different from each other.   Posted: 01/26/2021 21:07:57
