Very interesting. Is it your intent that there be no texture visible in the sky and clouds?   Posted: 09/02/2020 15:07:30

Leonid, you and Judy are getting quite good at compositing. This view of the staircase is quite dramatic. I would experiment with different skies. The large white cloud area appears as a distraction for me although I like the over all concept.

without cloud was boring and not natural   Posted: 09/02/2020 18:54:35

The clouds and sky make it interesting, I agree. I was wondering whether you were seeking to have the sky and clouds look natural, in which case they could have some texture (not be blown), or whether you wanted it to look like a painted ceiling.   Posted: 09/02/2020 20:51:12

Definitely an arresting image. The spiral staircase is nice and sharp and leads the eye to the center I agree with Dorinda that the blown white cloud is distracting. I understand that you were trying to replace the ceiling with a skylight filled with sky and clouds. However I agree with Robert that the white area of cloud in this replacement sky is blown I would reduce the brightness of this white area or use a sky and different cloud   Posted: 09/04/2020 20:04:15

Great composition. The photos is very lean, sharp, no distractions,no people on the stair case and you were able to get the stair case in one shot. The sky is a nice touch and the lack of any visible support for the center is interesting'.

Thanks for sharing your photo.   Posted: 09/16/2020 13:22:06

Interesting! I like the creative piece with the ceiling replaced by the sky. It is whimsical and makes you wonder what is floating up there. Nicely done.   Posted: 09/17/2020 11:16:37
