August 2020 - Apple with Water

About the Image(s)

My August picture, it is a composed picture, my art, sitting home and not taking any new pictures I start to create some art composed pictures. I took a picture of two apples and created many levels composition of the splash water.

How about expanding the splash a lot and making it appear that an apple is the cause of the splash?   Posted: 08/04/2020 10:16:34

Yes, it would be a different picture. By the way, it is really hard to make a water drop as large as the one that you have above the apples. Also take a look at how a water drop distorts the shapes of objects behind it. A drop acts like a little lens, but the normal lensing effect is missing here.   Posted: 08/04/2020 14:34:18

`Great creative photo with good composition, color and the detail is very good. Would be interested in the settings you used to take the pictures including f-stop, speed plus the ISO setting. Enjoyed your creation.

Very creative. Interesting composite, nice sharp apples.
I would leave out the drop Without the drop it would look like an apple had dropped even without moving or enlarging the splash If you move the splash under just one apple without the drop it would be even better   Posted: 08/04/2020 17:18:56

Robert this is not an actual pictures, it is a composed art product. The water drops have been created from many lavels of different segments and does not should be absolutely natural. I did it to show what Photoshop could create if you know how to use and have a fantasy.   Posted: 08/04/2020 17:22:49

I understand that this is a composite, but since photographs generally record reality, I have trouble appreciating a "photograph" that contains elements that obviously defy physical law. I would have liked this image more if the background behind the drop were distorted the way a real drop would have.
I think that Judy is also getting at something helpful--it would also be nice to understand some connection between the apples and the splash.   Posted: 08/04/2020 18:27:45
