About the Image(s)

I took this picture several years ago on our trip to Spain, picture was taking in San Sebastian pier. I like the geometry of this unknown me structure, but texture and ocean all of these were incredible.

I use Photoshop and Topaz for editing.

It adds a lot to this image to have the nearer sculpture framing the more distant sculpture. The color of the rocks and the metal nicely complement one another. I would like this better if the clouds did not have a brownish cast.   Posted: 06/03/2020 14:18:26

This is another WOW image from you. As you say wonderful textures and colors. I always look for rust to photograph.
Great position to give a great view of the sculptures. I looked up online and found a very similar view of the sculpture but not as well done The sculpture is called Wind by the sculptor Edward Chillida. My camera club has rules against using other people's work. However, I have never agreed with that rule. And for me your image is your unique artistic take on the sculpture I would change the sky to a clear pale blue sky which might let the rusted sculpture pop even more   Posted: 06/03/2020 15:53:36

Thank you, Judy, for clarifying the striking sculpture Leonid has shown us. I especially love how he has framed the second echo version in the main subject. Congratulations, Leonid, If you are listening, for another great photo.   Posted: 06/14/2020 16:55:51

The "rule" as I understand it: don't take photos of other peoples artwork and call it yours. UNLESS you take it from a unique perspective, show only a portion, have a person walking in front of it, that sort of thing. Something that you add or detract from the original work to make it your own. I think you are fine here, especially since from your viewpoint we can peak through and see the other sculpture at the far end. Very nicely done. Love the texture.

Very strong and dymnamic photo. Your colors are nicely saturated, the front portion is sharp and the composition keeps the eyes on the steel form, then the stone wall formation and on to the steel sculptore in the eye of the fromt sculpture. Back ground is lovely and does not compete with the sculpturre and soft in comparison which keeps it from being distracting. Nice work.   Posted: 06/06/2020 08:48:48

I just noticed a small thing while re-looking at your image. I think the horizon line needs to be straightened a trifle.
