About the Image(s)

This is a focus stacked macro of a small succulent. I was after the flower, but it had closed by the time I had gotten my camera. I find it interesting that superficially, this looks out of focus.

I guess I should have added in my comments above that this time I expect that you folks will agree that the background is dark enough.   Posted: 11/05/2019 12:04:32

I love the pattern here with just the right amount of the plant in focus. I don't see how a flower would improve it. I think the image might look a little better to my eyes if the highlights were reduced a tiny bit permitting a little more green to show through on some of the edges. The background is spot on.   Posted: 11/07/2019 14:25:26

Makes a nice sharp abstract image I thought at first it was a green pepper   Posted: 11/11/2019 21:04:54

Interesting pattern of lines. I thought this was a man made object..something spongy, until I read your description. I like what is in focus and what is not and don't feel it looks out of focus. What kind of succulent? It seems very textured for a succulent. What was the lighting you used?   Posted: 11/12/2019 10:22:48

It is too texture and too sharp. Interesting abstract image.   Posted: 11/12/2019 13:07:09
