About the Image(s)

I was fascinated by this succulent that hadn't bloomed yet. I loved the layer of the petals tight on the outside and then when I looked into the center, you could see what will be revealed once the succulent unfolds. I liked the abstract quality of the shape and lines. Other than cropping, I haven't done any post processing...yet. Would love your thoughts before I do.

Beautiful colors with reds, pale yellows and greens. Nice sharp red and yellow petals Since my eye was drawn to the center I tried to lighten and sharpen the center a bit This would be a good place for focus stacking   Posted: 09/07/2019 17:59:09

The straight on view is very appealing. I think I would leave it as is unless you were to focus stack as Judy suggested. In that case, focus stack and brighten the interior more.   Posted: 09/11/2019 17:49:56

Great colors and symetry in the subject. Detail is very good and interesting to view natures works.
It would be interesting to see the same view with a deeper field of focus to satisfy the question of what comes next.
Very nice photo..   Posted: 09/11/2019 19:39:39
