About the Image(s)

Here is another one of my backyard frogs (I am currently obsessed with). I found this little guy siting on the rock on top of the water fall. I couldn't get in real close, bit focused right on him. I did some adjustments in Lightroom as far as contrast and clarity. I also cropped in from the original because I felt there was extraneous background going on.

This little guy is definitely well camouflaged. Because of that, it is difficult to see him as the subject. I cropped more off the top and tried to reduce the hilites on him.   Posted: 08/10/2019 13:17:34

I too did not see the frog at first glance. I agree with cropping Since the frog is to me the focal point I would crop the bottom also I brought it into Topaz Jpeg to Raw then Topaz Studio Ai and back to PSCC where I changed it to mono and darkened the background   Posted: 08/10/2019 14:09:21

I like these images that pose a mystery. The eye was my clue until I began to see the entire image which is well camouflaged. I think Judy's cropping is an improvement. I like the deep greens of the moss which adds some life to the shot, so I prefer your color version. The fence is a distraction and downplaying it is beneficial.   Posted: 08/10/2019 14:30:23
