About the Image(s)
This image is from the colour original --> B&W. Shot at f8, 1/125, ISO200. Post processing in Adobe RAW conversion, Elements. Seeing the dark and light tones, I thought it would look good in B&W - I rotated the image a bit, and colour graded it into mostly blacks and whites - approaching a bit of an abstract flavour.
As always, would appreciate any comments and suggestions - thanks

Gee! I like this a lot! Great play between lines, shapes, light and shadows ... try "Dodging" the clouds just a bit to bring them a bit more attention: ever so slightly, however. Nice work!

Gunter, a great job looking up and composing this beauty. I agree that the clouds need some help, but I would be careful to make them white as they lead would intersect with the top and right edge. Perhaps another cloud image could be used to fix the lighting and compositional challenges.   Posted: 03/17/2023 16:32:59
Thanks, Bob
Almost everyone suggests that the clouds need some work - and I agree, but in the opposite direction. My intent was to make them just as they are, so they would not draw attention from the highlighted parts of the picture. Obviously did not work this time. Lesson learned.   Posted: 03/26/2023 14:26:33

Thanks Judy - certainly another take on this scene, but for me the clouds added some additional context to the image   Posted: 03/26/2023 14:28:55
A really impactful image and I really like it. It took a really good eye to look up and spot this and give it a really graphic treatment. Certainly the clouds could benefit from a little work as already suggested. but definitely a keeper.   Posted: 03/26/2023 13:33:08

Thanks Tim. I actually produced this picture for an assignment by another critique group I belong to - the subject was Architectual Minimalism.   Posted: 03/26/2023 14:32:51
