About the Image(s)
Playing around creating composite images - This was during a shooting in the Jungle with a French Composer / Singer (Aurelia in Blue) - I shot handheld, using my 24-70 but do not recall the specific of the shots. The wall was added to the scene.

Hi Karen, I like your changes, I just recently started to crop images to 8.5 x 11 for a few editorial photos - it makes for a more square image similar to your crop. This was really proof of concept playing with PS and creating composite images.   Posted: 04/07/2021 17:36:57

The frame within a frame works quite well here. The subject really pops. I feel cropping the branch on the right and then centering the image would make it stronger.
Also the girl looks a bit fake be cause she has no shadows beneath her to blend her into the frame.   Posted: 04/10/2021 16:38:51

Hi Larry,
Thank you, I will try centering the image to see how it comes out. Good point on the shadow, while I prefer to shoot with natural light, this day we used a deported flash as the canopy was creating a very un-even light with many light and shadow spots if that makes sense:-)   Posted: 04/10/2021 17:37:26

Nice composition, good coloring. Interesting composite. Adding a few vines to the wall/arch might make for a more interesting image?   Posted: 04/13/2021 09:44:58
Hi Bill, thank you. Yes, I agree with you 100%, it is work in progress but I was thinking exactly the same to make it a bit more real:-)   Posted: 04/13/2021 13:05:28
Great framing. The subject looks surreal in the surroundings perhaps because of the missing shadow pointed out by Larry. The subject herself appears somewhat enchanted as she hugs the musical instrument.   Posted: 04/13/2021 16:14:29

Good for you trying compositing--something I have rarely tried. I didn't notice the shadow issues mentioned above. I do like the wall you used and don't mind the centering. The color and exposure are well done. This is an interesting image and different from many that I see. Well done.   Posted: 04/16/2021 10:29:17
