About the Image(s)
I took this last November during a trip to Maryland’s Eastern Shore, an area very different from the rest of MD. I used my Olympus EM-% with the 12-100 mm lens at 66 mm=132 mm. ISO was 320, SS 1/1000 at f 9. I love old structures and was interested in how the shadows fit it. I processed it in Elements with NIK plug-ins. Neat shot. I love window shots of just about any kind. I like Jim's adjustments.   Posted: 03/10/2019 15:44:12

I too like your window. Nothing better to start a story than a door or window. I like Jim's version too, I think because it minimizes the weaker plants on the right. That being said, I think the window is too small in the frame, which makes Jim's crop better too. Fine detail everywhere and the exposure is spot on. I used a glow to kind of soften everything to give you another option. Good job as always.   Posted: 03/10/2019 19:12:29

We are on the road and I appreciate all your comments. I submitted a monochrome version to my monochrome group so it will be interesting to see the comments there. I like Jim's version better than I remember mine. I'll have to rework it when we get home. I agree a closer crop is better. I'll work on my comments when we get to NV where my husband has a conference.
This looks like another good round.   Posted: 03/10/2019 19:52:34

Love these minimalist window/door shots. I, too, like the mono version.   Posted: 03/11/2019 12:04:32
Love the idea, perhaps I would be even more seduced with a monochrome version - I do like Jame's version & the more low tone / grainy look.   Posted: 03/15/2019 03:09:03
