Dahlia by Sheila Burke-Grey

October 2020 - Dahlia

About the Image(s)

Recently, I was out on a shoot with a friend at a local arboretum, when I spotted this dahlia. It was unique because it was horizontal, rather than vertical. My focus was the bee. I used my Olympus, EM1 Markiii,
with 40-150mm, with 1.4 extender. F4, ISO 200, shutter 1/2000. I cropped, sharpened it in PS, and framed it.

Super shot I have seen a lot of photos of bees this year( not sure why) . This is at the top. Love the drops of water and all detail on the bee. I am still working on my skills to do that.   Posted: 10/15/2020 10:22:10
