About the Image(s)

Title: Watching

Sometimes I want to do a composite image, and so far the easiest way I have of combining two images in ps is to use layers and the eraser tool. Any other ideas or suggestions from you would be welcomed. Mostly when I use this combining of two or more images is for when I want to extend the DOF. I have done this by shooting two images, of the same subject, with two different spots for focus.

Here is an example of a more extreme one that I have been working on. Since I have put together three images, I will not be giving the camera settings as they each would be different. Please inquire if you have any questions. I do not feel proficient with this 'creative' styling yet.

Wonderful. I really like what you did. The composite really captures the images.   Posted: 10/11/2020 18:06:20

You did a great job putting all the images together. I like that you put the cat in the upper left corner looking right at the insect flying around. The only thing I would do differently is blend the flower/hummingbird moth more into the left side of the whole picture. It is a little too noticeable that it is a separate picture.   Posted: 10/12/2020 13:36:11

Nice job. I had too look twice the see the cat in the little circle in the center. Very interesting, well thought out.   Posted: 10/15/2020 10:13:58

Thanks Steve, and yes, the tiny circle is almost too tiny for a well-composed image like this.
