About the Image(s)

Wow! Could write a story on this one. I subscribe to BACKPACKER Magazine. The feature quarter for 2019 was the "Playlist for season's top trips and picks" Number 7 was: Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore, MI "FIND SOLITUDE". I was inspired to go to this point (I looked at the magazine's picture and said to myself-I can take a better picture)so I took 2 days off of work to find my journey. I explored the U.P. Michigan. My last stop was Munising to view spray falls. I did some research on the trails. I didn't realize how challenging it was. I hiked the northern part with a back pack and a tripod. Then is started to rain. I was climbing these steep steps{about 2 1/2 foot high), walking threw a foot of rain and crawling up these steep sand cliffs. I was drenched. Lucky I carried an umbrella, a plastic bag and a couple cloths. I finally got to my point. I walked across this narrow cliff to shoot (drop-off about 35 feet to shoreline). WOW! What a site! I took this picture from different angles. No wonder to why they call this place "FIND SOLITUDE". After I took this shot, I decided to head south of hike (about 4 miles). More mud, thick forests and then rain came down very strong. I continued with the journey and was becoming very exhausted. Luckily I ran into a couple and ask them to take me back to my car. They stated that they could not believe that I walked all that way in the rain. I stated it was worth it. They excepted no cash from me.
