An excellent picture of the Heron and I really like what you did to enhance it in PS, Color Efex Pro and Topaz. If the original picture was cropped to make this one, can you put a little more breathing room at the top of the heron's head.   Posted: 07/21/2017 19:51:08

Good idea, Kathy! That is doable!   Posted: 07/21/2017 20:49:51
Any chance you could look at the heron's eye and see if there is a high light to lighten up? I like Kathy's suggestion of adding just a bit back to the top. I also like that you got the whole foot in, even below the water. Nice job.   Posted: 07/22/2017 11:15:35
Splendid, I like being able to see the foot in the water. I am not so sure I want more room on top, I would like to see what the intense look is seeing. I like what you did in pp.   Posted: 07/22/2017 15:53:15

I like the changes you made Shelia, now could you add a bit to the bottom? Nice coloring, and it gives the feeling of being in the South and of a great blue concentrating! I like the mottled coloring of the stream.   Posted: 07/24/2017 09:36:41
I like the composition on the image that you submitted. Not sure if I like catch light. I seems a little unnatural. It seems like the tree has too much detail to the main subject. Maybe a hint of black vignette around the subject would of created more impact to the image.   Posted: 07/31/2017 21:47:23
