One of the things I learned about working on sky with Lightroom is that the exposure slider adds grey. I'm not sure if you processed it that way but I don't care for the dark top of the sky in this photo. Could you use a gradient filter? I am curious, could you post the original?   Posted: 02/09/2021 13:16:56

Your imager definitely conveys the vastness of Monument Valley. Looking at the shadow on the rock, it appears that it was relatively early or late in the day and there was possibly some back lighting involved. I wonder whether you lightened up some of the shadows on the ground to reveal some more detail in them. I like the layer of cloud across the top of the image.   Posted: 02/10/2021 05:32:45

Lovely colors, but I would lighten the areas of the sky that are very dark.   Posted: 02/17/2021 17:58:36

Hum. My first thought was haze. Was there a haze when you took this photo? The details in the stone are fabulous. I also like the leading line of the road from bottom left leading to the monument. I like the clouds.

Very interesting and contrasting comments in regards to this photo. I agree with Becca, maybe some dehaze would help with the contrast on the big rock.   Posted: 02/19/2021 14:44:54

I agree that the image is somewhat hazy and working with the dehaze slider in LR might improve the overall image. I would also add a slight, dark, gradient on the bottom to draw the eye even more to the monuments.   Posted: 02/19/2021 15:55:33
