About the Image(s)

Taken last year at a training facility for trotters.

Played a bit with colour and brightness and blurred some background.

Horses nearly always look ungainly when they ate trotting quickly, it is almost a situation in which fast multiple exposure is required and then the frame with the best positioned legs chosen. You have given him plenty of room to move into, to allow for his speed. The light is coming from the back three-quater and has rendered the driver's face in shadow, I would have preferred it to be a little lighter.   Posted: 11/11/2020 08:56:06

I like the intensity of the horse trotting. Coat is shiny, head is down and the gallop is going.
I might have flipped the photo as to gain left to right movement. Like the background blur. Post processing can add light to the jockey's face.
Fun to go back and look at last year's photos.   Posted: 11/11/2020 09:45:35

A good photo later in the day with some nice lighting. The angle is not ideal, you have lightened the face ok, a little more might look unnatural. The front of the horse is a bit in shadow as well and you have lost some detail.   Posted: 11/23/2020 14:49:58
