Fall fall by Jan van Leijenhorst

November 2020 - Fall fall

About the Image(s)

A waterfall with fall colors, made in a local garden near where I live.
I shot this at 1/8 of a second to slow down the falling water. Colors were enhanced somewhat in Lightroom.

Lovely waterfall and autumn colors. I would tone down the yellow leaves on the upper left. They are a bit distracting.   Posted: 11/08/2020 20:18:45

There is a lovely selection go autumnal red and yellow colours surrounding the waterfall which have benefitted from being enhanced. Your choice of shutter speed is spot on, slow enough to blur and streak the water but fast enough to stop the water preventing us from seeing though it.   Posted: 11/11/2020 08:49:25

What an awesome photo feel! I like the yellow leaves, the color picked up by the rainbow and then to the lower right yellow leaves. Like the portrait orientation.
Lucky you to have such a beautiful local garden. I'll be interested to see what winter photos are to come.   Posted: 11/11/2020 09:41:20

Nice location and excellent capture, the 1/8th of a second worked out good. I think the yellow and the white are the bottom are a little bright as well.   Posted: 11/23/2020 14:44:58
