Interesting image.. good color and texture throughout. Too bad there is not someone sitting in the doorway to add a little interest. It is cropped pretty tight, any more room? What is behind the door?   Posted: 10/12/2020 14:25:44

I like this as a record shot of some typical Vietnamese construction, showing detail of the construction and the texture of the walls. I feel it could need another strong element to really hold the viewers attention, as there are 5 detail elements currently competing for attention. I can also see a couple of stronger images within by making the brush and stick as the main centre of interest, that could be achieved by cropping off some of the other elements.   Posted: 10/13/2020 02:41:48

Oooo, nice contrast of geometric shapes, odd number of objects and that pop of red grounded by green. I like the circular movement among the objects.
I'm glad there isn't anyone in the photo. This is an architectural photo with great texture and detail. One can image what happens in this house and along it's front walkway. The lightbulb is great.
Or it could be an abstract face with a red ear.
I really like this photo.   Posted: 10/14/2020 12:02:14

What I like are the colors in this image. And the cracks in the wall, the open door, that light bulb and the broom. There is an overall sense of mystery in this image: what's behind the door, are there still people around or is this an abandoned site? It draws the viewer in without having to focus on a particular part of the image. Great shot.   Posted: 10/20/2020 13:05:41

Wonderful texture capture. Also unique to an area and culture that I haven't seen much of. There are questions to this story: why is the broom broken? It points the eye up to the red over the door. Who lives here? Why are there bars on the windows? A very interesting and enigmatic photo!   Posted: 10/20/2020 15:24:43
