About the Image(s)

This was made in a nearby nature preserve that had a farm with life stock, including horses.
For a small fee you could take your children for a ride through the area.
I enhanced the image in LR, especially toning down the bright summer light.

Like the toned down bright summer day. It might even be adjusted for color as it seems a little too "yellow" for me. But that could be me. Looks like a fun summer activity. I do hope you got to ride.   Posted: 08/10/2019 11:34:03

It looks like you caught an image of a fun activity, but all of it is too blown out in the sunny areas. The horse on the right's main has lost its detail due to the bright sun and the area behind the wagon too blown out. Maybe it could have been burned a little to darken it more.   Posted: 08/10/2019 16:56:23

Good story here and very nice composition. I like the two men, two horses, two trees and the diagonal aspect. The lighting of the main subjects is good. There appears to be a lot of noise or lack of resolution. And yes the blow outs are an issue for me too.   Posted: 08/18/2019 06:11:08

It is a very interesting subject which tells a nice story. I have to agree with the comments.. it does seem a bit yellow and the blown out area with the horse mane is an issue.   Posted: 08/18/2019 18:42:10

I like the positioning of the cart coming from the classic front three-quarter position. The lighting is very warm but the shadows do not suggest it was early or late in the day. There is also some burn out on the horses' manes.   Posted: 08/24/2019 12:40:54
