Butterfly by Tony Au Yeong

About the Image(s)

This image was created recently when I went to have a walk in a park. I think the butterfly belongs to the family Hesperiidae, commonly called skipper. The photo was taken during sunset and the light was getting dim. The noise is quite obvious. I have cropped and post processed it in PS.

Your composition is spot on with a clean background, pleasing color palette, and no distractions. The butterfly is sharp enough and you have done well to get the feelers all in the same plane.   Posted: 11/14/2020 13:15:29

Good capture of the butterfly on the flower, with the main elements in good focus. The composition is very pleasant, descending diagonally from the top left to the butterfly. My only recommendation is to eliminate the dark spot on the top right and the dark line coming down from the top left to the flower; they are probably some out-of-focus elements, but they look like dirt.   Posted: 11/14/2020 16:07:50

I also like this. Agree with Jose about taking out the two blurred gray spots.   Posted: 11/25/2020 13:59:17
