A Lake in Tibet by Tony Au Yeong

October 2020 - A Lake in Tibet

About the Image(s)

An image of a lake in Tibet. It was taken about 4 years ago during autumn. A quiet place because tourists are getting less as winter approaches. Sometimes the flags have words written on them and they are from the Buddhist Sutras.

Lovely and serene. There is nothing to change in this image. You captured beautiful colors, reflections and a peaceful story. There is only one tiny thing I would remove, and that is the small green area to left on hills. Probably from the lens.   Posted: 10/10/2020 14:59:09

It's a wonderful composition, with the diagonal lines leading the viewer to a focal point. You managed to get very interesting reflections of the praying flags and the clouds. Even if the praying flags are colorful, you achieved a very muted and serene mood. Belinda is right with the flare coming from the top left corner.   Posted: 10/10/2020 19:30:53

I agree with the others, and with the flare removal, you have a very nice image.   Posted: 10/12/2020 15:23:36

Good use of the flags to draw us into the composition and fill in the less interesting foreground. You have some green lens flare which should be removed, as the others have suggested.   Posted: 10/13/2020 11:17:16
