The Photo. NiknD800, Tamron 150“600 handheld, but braced on my knee; ,aperture full open, shutter automatically set and ISO reduced to 200. Processed in On1, cropped to eliminate another flower, increased contrast and saturation and vibrance to compensate for flat dull light and Photoshop (for sizing and sharpening with unsharp mask at 100%.

I like the colors of your image. The background is nicely blurred and the light is soft. You have done a good job in creating a sharp photo with your settings because the aperture is fully opened and it is a telephoto lens.   Posted: 09/12/2020 04:32:35

Great job of capturing the Tiger Swallowtail drinking. You got the catch light in the eye, too! I might try adding a bit more light through the wing area to draw attention to the beautiful designs. With the tip of flower cut at top, I'd try to expand the top to restore some of it. Only other thing would be clean up the bottom right area's slight shadow that may be remaining from edits ? and remove the pink in the corner.   Posted: 09/12/2020 14:47:33
