I am a sucker for IR. This has a nice mystical quality. I think the duck on the left helps the image from being center static. I wonder if some vignetting (or more) might help? Also, could you tone down the highlights slightly? (Without making them grey)   Posted: 08/02/2019 14:39:47

I love the IR effect and certainly enjoy the nostalgia of Central Park. That said, I think those huge trees somewhat overpower the main subject; so in my feedback,I cropped some of that out an gave it a panoramic effect with the focus on the water and underside of the bridge.   Posted: 08/04/2019 21:50:40

Fantastic! Love the IR look. It glitters and glows. I prefer it exactly as is. If you want to remove a sliver across the top, you get rid of most sky and that might be ok; and, I do see how a very tight crop (squaring it more) could emphasize the bridge, so perhaps there are more images from this one. Still, I like it as is.   Posted: 08/06/2019 15:22:26

Usually, I don't enjoy IR, but this one really grabbed my attention..........wonderful image. I especially enjoy the ducks and the moment you snapped the shot, the duck was taking off causing the water ripples. Very cool!   Posted: 08/07/2019 08:10:39

I love it! My only suggestion would be to tone down the trees top right a little to reduce brightness and bring out more detail.   Posted: 08/09/2019 11:32:28

Thanks for all the feedback. IR generally does brighten all foliage is it renders green to white. However I have followed your advice and toned down the highlights as much as possible.   Posted: 08/11/2019 13:54:40

Very interesting rendition through infrared. It is a nice composition, with the ducks (in particular the one taking off) complementing the whole scene. I agree that the bright trees need to be toned down (which you did), but I'm not so sure about the cropping from the top. A tighter crop emphasizes the bridge, but I do like the two triangles with the sky.   Posted: 08/11/2019 19:13:21

I really like IR. This is in my opinion very well done, particularly in the version with the toned down high lights.
I would try a tighter crop of the left and the bottom   Posted: 08/11/2019 20:00:50

Personally I go for the original picture and really love the bright foliage. The gray does not bother me. I find the more Panoramic crop that Beverly did very interesting and appealing.
