i! I began my photographic journey at eight years of age when someone let me hold their Kodak Brownie camera and shoot a couple of photographs. I loved it but did not own my own camera until after working all summer in my father's hardware store at age twelve I could purchase a Bell& Howell 8mm camera. My first "big time" still camera was a Pentax Spotmatic. My goal in photography is to have fun and to continue to learn how to be a better photographer as a life-long process. I have been fortunate to have many teachers both in the local camera club as well as with travel tours. I live in Tennessee and am retired. My wife is very patient and supportive of my photographic goals. We have five grandchildren ranging from sixteen to five years of age.
