Bangalore Palace is a Palace located in Bangalore, Karnataka, India in an area that was owned by Rev. J. Kumar, Thank you for sharing the background story of why this palace is so important. I like the rich landscaping and the warm colors of the stones. The sky is rich in texture and colors. I did notice the bird flying in the far left. It's not that noticeable, but if we can't tell what kind of bird it is, I suggest that you remove it. Nicely done. Nice photo with well-focused building. The cloudy sky is also adding to the beauty of the image.

When taking a photo like this, I normally use a long exposure to record some movement in the sky. You can also do it when editing by using motion blur.   Posted: 12/06/2019 06:18:28

Kumar, thank you for sharing photos from parts of the world I have not seen or known. I am looking forward to what you bring to DD#24 next year. Dr. Jim   Posted: 12/11/2019 08:58:52

Dear Jim,
It is pleasure to post our work in this group. Very good critics which makes us to learn more.
There will be more colors for the new year from all of us.

A beautifully crisp image with perfect exposure. The colours are vibrant without being over done. I would suggest balancing the left side and right side of the image. The left shows all of the side of the building while the right has been cut off a little. A little perspective correction may also enhance the sense of symmetry. Well done!   Posted: 12/15/2019 22:21:14

Nice shot with good colors, and thank you for telling the story--we all like to know about the world from our digital dialogue colleagues.
With buildings not too tall, as this one, a little perspective alteration might work--I used "skew" in PhotoShop, which tends to preserve heights, whereas "perspective" tends to fatten buildings.
However, in all cases such changes are untrue to what both you and the camera actually saw--the converging vertical lines are correct perspective, just as converging horizontal lines of a street are correct perspective. So use judgement when you consider to alter perspective.   Posted: 12/15/2019 22:30:21

I add my thanks to rest for telling the story and providing background.

If this was my image, I probably would straighten the verticals as suggested by Stephan. I was also wondering if it was possible to step farther back when shooting the image. The feeling of the circle seems truncated to me. I would like to see a bit more of the circle on the bottom and a bit more framing with the green plants along the bottom edge.   Posted: 12/18/2019 19:04:20
