I wanted to have the old wood show up and the lonely look of the building. I cropped the pic, change the sky and added more contrast.

An old structure with a dramatic sky. The details of the structure are shown well.

Perhaps the background sky can be further improved using radial blur.   Posted: 11/03/2019 19:53:29

I think your right, I will try that. Thank you, Sam.   Posted: 11/04/2019 10:09:43

What a great subject. Good eye to see the possibilities here. I do think that you need to make more tonal adjustments. The whites in the clouds still seem blown out,and there are weird banding artifacts around the blue areas on the right that so not seem at all natural. Our adjustments, even if radical, need to appear minimal.

Have you thought about trying this as a black and white image? I suspect it would be way more effective in monochrome.   Posted: 11/08/2019 20:41:31

I change the sky back to more like the original. I think it does look better. Thank you for your C.C. You all are teaching me so much.   Posted: 11/09/2019 20:58:30
