About the Image(s)

This was taken at Glenbawn Dam, New South Wales. It was taken about 2 years ago. The area was then and still is in severe drought, so the water levels are low. Beauty though is still to be found. Feel free to comment and offer suggestions.

I like this a lot and it is art so I like something you might not and that's okay. What I want to say is I like the Original best. To each his own. :) Both are very good.   Posted: 08/14/2019 16:54:53

Sue, this is a very unique perspective in what looks to be sunset on water for great reflections. I like the way you cropped it to take better control of the space and stillness.
Nicely done. Dr. Jim   Posted: 08/14/2019 20:02:07

Sue, this is a very interesting and abstract image. Good eye to see the photographic quality here. You did a good job of cropping the image for maximum impact. Personally, I like the tonal contrast and color of the original image far better than the processed one. That is just my opinion however.   Posted: 08/14/2019 20:54:29

Sue: like the simplicity of the image. Have two suggestions: experiment with (1) tightening the crop to the top left-hand quarter of your edited image and (2)reverting to the original image tones to emphasize the silhouettes. These suggestions only reflect my personal taste as a "black and white" buy who looks for opportunities to work with vertical or horizontal patterns.   Posted: 08/25/2019 14:26:34
